Contino Joins Cloud Security Alliance, Cementing Its Position as a Leader in Cloud Security
London – March 9, 2022 – Contino is pleased to announce it has joined the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the world’s leading organization dedicated to defining standards, certifications and best practices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment.
As a leading digital transformation consultancy with deep expertise in cloud computing, Contino has proven experience in building secure and scalable enterprise cloud platforms for global brands and accelerating cloud migrations all whilst ensuring cloud compliance.
How We Enable Our Customers to Securely Navigate Cloud
Contino’s experience spans across the end-to-end cloud security lifecycle, starting from our client's cloud security strategy to designing their cloud security blueprint and architectures, implementing these, and working with Risk, Compliance and SOC teams to run their cloud platforms securely at scale.
The Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM) is a cybersecurity control framework for cloud computing aligned to CSA best practices that is considered the de-facto standard for cloud security and privacy. Contino has been using this framework with a number of our customers to help them achieve their security and regulatory requirements. It has been a powerful enabler for uplifting legacy controls frameworks that are usually centered around on-premise systems and it has made it much easier to evidence the controls and ensure the conversations regarding audits go a lot smoother. In turn this has enabled our customers to go live with their systems much faster than before and to put more critical workloads into the cloud.
“We are excited to be joining the world’s most authoritative and trusted voice on cloud security best practices. With the growing popularity and focus on supply chain security, zero trust networking and identity in the cloud we are looking forward to contributing to the various workshops, working groups and thought leadership inside of CSA,”
Marcus Maxwell, Security Practice Lead
“With the growing adoption of cloud among enterprises, many organizations are finding it hard to manage their digital transformation, let alone the sheer volume of cloud security and compliance requirements in existence. We’re excited, therefore, to welcome Contino to CSA and look forward to their contributions and expertise in the DevOps and cloud computing space,”
Jim Reavis, CEO, Cloud Security Alliance
