What Makes Us Unique

Enterprise DevOps in the Cloud:
We focus exclusively on helping enterprises transform by adopting a DevOps operating model along with the associated tools, techniques, platforms and architectures for modern software development, in the cloud.

Engineering first approach:
Our team is comprised of leading DevOps and automation domain experts, and we foster an innovative engineering culture. We are thought leaders in the global DevOps and Cloud community.

Financial Services:
We have vast financial services and insurance sector expertise, helping organisations move at velocity whilst addressing governance, compliance, controls and other regulatory requirements. We apply best practice and disruptive technologies based on our experience in other sectors to FSI.

Scale and Capabilities:
$30M in funding and backed by leading VC, Columbia Capital, allows us to scale and meet large enterprise needs successfully with our multi-regional capabilities (EMEA, AMERS, APAC).

Pragmatic Dual Approach:
We are easy and flexible to work with. We don’t do big reports – instead we roll our sleeves up and work with our clients to both execute transformation and upskill their teams to deliver innovative software solutions securely, at velocity.

Metric and Business Case Driven Approach:
We turn DevOps and public cloud adoption into a science, tracking the efficiencies that we gain and mapping them back to a rigorous business case.

Dual Delivery and Up-Skilling

In all our engagements, we apply a dual delivery and up-skilling approach – helping you change your culture, your operating model, and build your own innovation engine – which breaks the dependency on legacy suppliers and infrastructure.

  • As well as helping our clients deliver on their most strategic projects, we focus on skills transfer and improving capability for scaled, yet secure DevOps and cloud adoption.

  • Our team are experienced with public cloud adoption and a multitude of many other DevOps toolsets. We also apply Continuous Delivery modes of working, at scale.

  • We coach your teams and engineers by underpinning our engagements with knowledge sharing workshops, classroom-based training, lunch and learns and innovation seminars to reinforce best practice.

  • We also like to deliver projects as a blended team where client resources are available to work with us.

Our History

Established in 2014, we have swiftly become one of the industry’s leading transformational IT consultancies

Contino was founded by Matt Farmer and Benjamin Wootton with the aim of supporting enterprises in their adoption of DevOps and cloud computing. We secured a wide range of exciting cloud, infrastructure automation, and full stack software development projects in our first year.

Contino grew rapidly and built a talented team, a powerful partner network, deep intellectual property, and a blue chip roster of enterprise clients globally. During 2015, the business grew by 400% year-on-year. Contino was one of the first organizations to strategically partner with Docker, Inc. to help companies adopt container technology.

Contino raised USD $30m in VC funding from Columbia Capital. The funding and strategic advice supports the continued growth and provides unparalleled ability to build a deep talent pool at scale within our areas of expertise. Contino also achieved Amazon Web Services APN Advanced Consulting Partner status.

We continue to work to be the partner of choice for enterprise organizations, helping them to thrive through better software delivery and the successful adoption of modern agile ways of working coupled with cloud and container technology. With offices in London, New York, Atlanta and Melbourne, we continue to grow our team and client base.
