London, UK. 20th November 2017.
Contino is delighted to announce that we are now an Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS) Premier Consulting Partner.
What this means in practice is that we have been recognised by AWS for our value-add transformation work with some of the biggest, highly regulated global enterprises. Contino’s stance is that Enterprise DevOps is the best way of maximizing the benefits of the AWS cloud. The scalable and distributed nature of the cloud means that a DevOps operating model – with its rapid change frequency and strong focus on automation – is a far better suited to cloud environments than more traditional enterprise delivery models. We are proud to use Momentum, our proven Enterprise DevOps adoption model, to help our clients accelerate the secure and compliant delivery of technology change.
Premier Consulting Partner is the highest partnership tier in the Amazon Partner Network (APN). It recognizes partners that have made significant investments to in their AWS practice, have extensive experience in deploying customer solutions on AWS, and have a strong bench of trained and certified technical consultants.
Contino CEO and Co-founder Matt Farmer commented: “I’m thrilled that we have been awarded Premier Consultancy Partner status within a few months of achieving the Financial Services and the DevOps Competencies. Achieving this status is a significant milestone for Contino and is demonstrative of the strong work we have accomplished with AWS. We continue to create significant value for our customers by not only accelerating the delivery of transformation projects, but upskilling our clients in new ways of working so that they can continuously improve going forward.”
AWS has set a very high standard for partners that aspire to Premier Consulting tier status. A highly certified engineering faculty is essential, alongside genuinely transformational customer references, for example, our work with Allianz, and at least one APN Competency.
Benjamin Wootton, CTO and Co-founder stated: “AWS’s range and maturity of services make it our platform of choice for innovation. The business case is insanely compelling, when coupled with a modern DevOps operating model, which is why we’re seeing an ever-increasing number of enterprises go all-in on AWS.”
The Contino team will be out in force in Las Vegas for AWS re:Invent 2017. We are the sponsor of the Financial Services Industry Day sessions on Monday 27th November as well as the networking reception that same evening.
