Web Beacons:
Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website.  Marketo may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs").  These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable Marketo to recognize when someone has visited Marketo Sites or opened an e-mail that have been sent from Marketo. This allows Marketo, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within Marketo Sites to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to Marketo Sites from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, and to measure the success of e-mail marketing campaigns.  In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will impair their functioning.

Social Media Features:
Marketo Sites may use social media features, such as the Facebook ‘like’ button (“Social Media Features”). These features may collect your IP address and which page you are visiting on Marketo Sites, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. You may be given the option by such Social Media Features to post information about your activities on Marketo Sites to a profile page of yours that is provided by a third party social media network in order to share with others within your network. Social Media Features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Sites. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing the relevant Social Media Features.

Flash cookies or Local Shared Objects:
Marketo Sites may also use so-called "Flash Cookies" to, among other things, collect and store information about your use of our services, fraud prevention and for other site operations. If you do not want Flash Cookies stored on your computer, you can adjust the settings of your Flash player to block Flash Cookies storage using the tools contained in the Website Storage Settings Panel. You can also control Flash Cookies by going to the Global Storage Settings Panel and following the instructions (which may include instructions that explain, for example, how to delete existing Flash Cookies (referred to "information" on the Macromedia site), how to prevent Flash Cookies from being placed on your computer without your being asked, and (for Flash Player 8 and later) how to block Flash Cookies that are not being delivered by the operator of the page you are on at the time). Please note that setting the Flash Player to restrict or limit acceptance of Flash Cookies may reduce or impede the functionality of some Flash applications, including, potentially, Flash applications used in connection with our services or online content.

Targeted Online and Mobile Advertising:
Marketo has engaged one or more third party service providers to track and analyze both individualized usage and volume statistical information from interactions with Marketo Sites. Third party service providers may also serve cookies on your computer or mobile device to serve advertising through Marketo Sites and provide other personalization services in accordance with this Marketo Cookie Policy. These companies may collect and use information about your visits to Marketo Sites and other websites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services that may interest you. They may also employ technology that is used to measure and track the effectiveness of advertisements. This can be accomplished by the use of cookies or web beacons to collect information about your visits to Marketo Sites and other sites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services of potential interest to you. The information collected through this process does not enable Marketo or them to identify your name, contact details or other personal information that directly identifies you unless you choose to provide these.

Splash
----------

The cookies in use to deliver Splash's service are described below. (Splash service use is explained in the Privacy Policy: https://www.contino.io/privacy...).

Splash uses the following types of cookies:

- Essential Cookies: Essential Cookies that are required for providing you with features or services that you have requested. For example, certain Cookies enable you to log into secure areas of Splash's Site or Services. Disabling these Cookies may make certain features and services unavailable.

- Functionality Cookies: Functional Cookies are used to record your choices and settings regarding Splash's Services, maintain your preferences over time and recognize you when you return to Splash's Services. These Cookies help Splash to personalize their content for you, greet you by name, and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region).

- Performance/Analytical Cookies: Performance/Analytical Cookies allow Splash to understand how visitors use their Site and Services such as by collecting information about the number of visitors to the Site, what pages visitors view on Splash's Site and how long visitors are viewing pages on the Site. Performance/Analytical Cookies also help Splash measure the performance of their advertising campaigns in order to help Splash improve their campaigns and the Services’ content for those who engage with Splash's advertising. For example, Google, Inc. (“Google”) uses cookies in connection with its Google Analytics services. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Services is subject to the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. You have the option to opt out of Google's use of cookies by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page at www.google.com/privacy_ads.htm... or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/.

- Retargeting/Advertising Cookies: Retargeting/Advertising Cookies collect data about your online activity and identify your interests so that Splash can provide advertising that they believe is relevant to you. Splash may serve advertisements, and also allow third party ad networks, including third party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors and research firms, to serve advertisements through the Services. These advertisements may be targeted to users who fit certain general profile categories or display certain preferences or behaviors (“Interest-Based Ads”). Information for Internet-Based Ads (including Personal Data) may be provided to Splash by you, or derived from the usage patterns of particular users on the Splash Services and/or services of other Third Parties. Such information may be gathered through tracking users’ activities across time and unaffiliated properties. To accomplish this, Splash or their service providers may deliver Cookies, including a file (known as a “web beacon”) from an ad network to you through the Services. Web beacons allow ad networks to provide anonymized, aggregated auditing, research and reporting for Splash and for advertisers. Web beacons also enable ad networks to serve targeted advertisements to you when you visit other websites. Web beacons allow ad networks to view, edit or set their own Cookies on your browser, just as if you had requested a web page from their site. Through the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) and Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”), several media and marketing associations have developed an industry self-regulatory program to give consumers a better understanding of and greater control over ads that are customized based on their online behavior across different websites. To make choices about Interest-Based Ads from participating third parties, including to opt out of receiving behaviorally targeted advertisements from participating organizations, please visit the DAA’s or NAI’s consumer opt out pages, which are located at http://www.networkadvertising.... or www.aboutads.info/choices. Users in the European Union should visit the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance’s user information website http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/. Splash do not share your Personal Data with advertisers without your consent. However, if you click on or otherwise interact with an advertisement there is a possibility that the advertiser may place a Cookie in your browser and note that it meets the criteria they selected.

Google Analytics Opt-out

In order to provide website visitors with more choice on how data is collected by Google Analytics, Google has developed the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The add-on communicates with the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) to stop data being sent to Google Analytics. The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on does not affect usage of the website in any other way. A link to further information on the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on is provided below for your convenience.
